Educational Conference & Trade Show 2009 recap: It was an amazing day! If you couldn't make it, you missed something special!!! You told us in the Educational Evaluations that the morning seminars were outstanding. The Trade Show floor opened at 11:00 AM. First-time Exhibitors were speechless with your enthusiasm and your willingness to speak with them. The sit-down poolside lunch was wonderful, then it was back to The Show. We gave away six (6) $50 cash raffle prizes (Jose Arce, Ellen Gilberti, Dennis Landry, Joanne Legere, Catherine Violetteand Tom Walkuski) during The Show. The Exhibitor Raffle prizes were just outstanding including a mountain bike, lots of iPods, wonderful gift baskets and gift cards and more, More, MORE!!! The Educational Evaluation Prize was brunch for two at Sheffield's restaurant in the hotel. Paul Knutsen from Gladeview Health Center won the Connecticut Chapter, ACHCA award of a free 1-year Membership in the College for bringing the most people from one facility. The Connecticut Chapter, ACHCA 50/50 Raffle netted Eileen Bender from Maefair Health Care Center in Trumbull, CT $260+ in cash. And our Grand Prize Winner of $500 in cold, hard cash was Bill Maggipinto from Twin Maples in Durham, CT. WOW, was he a happy camper as we counted out the five (5) $100 bills! Our sincere thanks to everyone for making this, our 21st-year Educational Conference & Trade Show, an outstanding success.
